Protests Erupt in Israel Against Netanyahu Government, Calls to End War

Large-scale protests have erupted in Israel against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as citizens voiced strong opposition to his government’s policies.
Hundreds of demonstrators took to the streets of Tel Aviv, demanding an immediate end to ongoing conflicts and calling for a shift in national policy.
Protesters were seen carrying placards with slogans such as “Stop the War” and “End Genocide,” highlighting growing public frustration over continued military actions.
Participants in the rally argued that prolonged warfare has led to instability within the country and stressed the need for urgent policy changes.
Meanwhile, former Israeli Deputy Chief of Staff Yair Golan also criticized the government’s approach.
Yair Golan stated that Netanyahu is under significant pressure and is aware that the objectives of the war have not been achieved. He added that true victors do not need to repeatedly declare their success.
He further emphasized that the time has come for Netanyahu and his government to step down in order to steer the country out of the current crisis.
